Council News & Facilities

Hanslope Community Hall at the Rec. Ground now open for bookings.  Local groups particularly welcome.  Capacity 100. Photos and booking information attached below.

Hanslope Recreation Ground: The 'Rec' is fully used throughout the year for football and for Cricket. For this reason, it is not possible for teams from outside of the village to book any pitches. The Pavilion is not a hireable space and is used by Hanslope FC, Hanslope Hornets and Hanslope Cricket Club. Any use of the Rec. Ground by groups, teams, or for commercial gain is not permitted without first obtaining a permit from the Parish Council.

New Outdoor Gym: The new outdoor adult gym at the Rec. Ground is now open for use by all. For optimum use, log in to the Proludic App for instructions etc. QR code and app details on each machine. Happy exercising!

MUGA: The Multi-Use Games Area on the Rec. Ground is largely Open Access for all. The exception to this, is weekday evenings Monday-Thursday 5-8pm, when Hanslope Hornets and Hanslope Netball Club have a standing booking.

Neighbourhood Plan:  The referendum held on Thursday 26th September 2019 resulted in a 'Yes' vote being carried.  This means that the Local Planning Authority (MK Council) must take the Hanslope NP into consideration when deciding on planning applications for the village.   Read the plan under the 'Neighbourhood Plan' tab
